NanoSign
Get documents signed without printing, scanning or chasing.
NanoSign is how you send a contract, an offer letter or a form for signature. Upload the file, mark where each person signs, and send it. Signers open a link in their email and sign on any device. You get the signed copy, with a record of who did what and when.
- Runs in your browserNothing to install to start.
- Installable as an appOn phones and computers.
- Part of your NanoNear accountSame sign-in as every app.
- Billed on its ownIts own plan, nothing bundled.
What it solves
A contract goes out by email, comes back printed, signed and scanned at an angle, or does not come back at all. Nobody can say who still needs to sign.
Who uses NanoSign
- Anyone who sends contracts, agreements or offer letters
- Sales teams closing deals that need a signature
- HR and operations teams collecting signed forms
How it works
Upload
Add a PDF, Word, Excel or text file.
Place fields
Drag signature, date, name and other fields onto the page for each person.
Add people
Signers, approvers and people who only get a copy, in the order they should act.
Send
Each person gets an email when it is their turn.
Keep the signed copy
Download the finished document with its completion certificate.
What you can do with NanoSign
Everything below works today. Where a feature needs a particular plan, it says so.
Prepare the document
Start from the file you already have.
-
Common file types
PDF, Word (DOC, DOCX), Excel (XLS, XLSX) and plain text, up to 20 MB.
-
Fourteen field types
Signature, initials, date signed, name, email, company, job title, address, phone, text, number, checkbox, radio and dropdown.
-
Colour-coded people
Each recipient's fields get their own colour, so you can see who fills in what.
Send it
Decide who acts, and in what order.
-
Signing order
Set who goes first. The next person is asked only when the previous one is done.
-
Signers, approvers and copies
Some people sign, some approve, some just receive the finished copy.
-
Expiry dates
Give a document a deadline so it does not sit open forever.
-
Void
Cancel a document that went out by mistake.
Signing
Easy for the people you send it to.
-
From an email link
Signers do not need a NanoNear account, and never have to create one.
-
On any device
Sign on a phone, tablet or computer, in the browser.
-
Sign or decline
Draw a signature, fill in the fields, or decline with a reason.
Track and keep
Always know where a document is.
-
Live status
Sent, viewed, partly signed or completed, for the whole document and for each person.
-
Audit trail
Every step is logged with the time it happened.
-
Completion certificate
The signed document comes with a certificate summarising who signed and when.
-
Download
Keep the signed copy wherever you keep your files.
Use it as an app

Questions about NanoSign
Do the people signing need an account?
No. They sign from the link in their email. Only the person sending needs a NanoNear account.
What counts towards the monthly allowance?
Each document you upload counts once, however many people sign it.
Can someone refuse to sign?
Yes. A signer can decline and give a reason, and you can see that on the document.
