Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information NanoNear ("NanoNear", "we") collects when you use nanonear.com and the NanoNear apps, why, and what you can do about it.

Two roles
For your NanoNear account, billing and our website, we decide how information is used: we are the controller.
For the information your company puts into its workspace (contacts, leads, documents, campaigns, employee time and activity, job applicants), your company decides how it is used and we process it on its behalf: we are the processor. Our Data Processing Agreement covers that part.
What we collect
Account details: name, work email, company name, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and optional phone, company size and revenue band.
Billing details: plan, amounts and payment status. Card and PayPal details are entered with Stripe or PayPal and never reach our servers.
Workspace content your team adds to the apps.
Technical information: IP address, browser, pages used and error logs, to keep the service secure and working.
Messages you send us through the contact form, support tickets or the Nano AI chat.
How we use it
To provide the apps, sign you in, bill you, answer you, keep the service secure and fix problems.
To send service emails (verification codes, receipts, security and product notices). Marketing emails only with your consent, with an unsubscribe link in each one.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use workspace content to advertise to you.
Workspaces are kept apart
Each company has its own workspace. Every record is tied to that workspace on the server and every query is limited to it, so one customer cannot see another customer's data.
Services we use
Stripe and PayPal (payments); our hosting provider (servers and email delivery); Cloudflare Turnstile (the "I'm not a robot" check); Groq (optional AI features: the Nano AI website assistant, reading resumes into a standard format and writing out recorded intros in NanoNear HR). Each receives only what it needs for that task.
How long we keep it
Account and workspace data for as long as the account is open. When an account is closed, its workspace data is deleted within 90 days of the request, except what we must keep for tax and accounting.
Nano Work keeps time, activity and screenshots only for the history period of the plan the customer chose. NanoNear HR blanks applicants' IP address and browser after 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to how it is used, by writing to [email protected]. If your information is in a customer's workspace (for example you are their employee or applicant), contact that company first; we will help them answer you.
You may also complain to your data protection authority.
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, payment details stay with Stripe and PayPal, and staff access to customer data is limited to what support requires.
Changes and contact
We will post changes here and tell account owners by email about important ones. Questions: [email protected].
