Why e-signatures matter to your organization

Paper signatures were never the point. The point is a clear, provable agreement. E-signatures get you there faster, for less, with a better record of what happened.

  • Speed

Documents go out and come back the same day. Sales close sooner, new staff start on time and suppliers are not left waiting.

  • Lower cost

No printing, posting, couriers, scanning or filing cabinets. The cost of getting one document signed drops to almost nothing.

  • A record you can prove

Every step is logged with the time it happened, and the signed document comes with a completion certificate showing who signed and when.

  • Always know where it is

See whether each document was sent, viewed, partly signed or completed, for the whole document and for every person on it.

  • Built for remote work

Customers, partners and staff sign wherever they are, on a phone, tablet or computer. Nobody has to come to the office.

  • Fewer mistakes

Fields are placed for each person before sending, so the right people fill in the right places and nothing is missed.

  • Control over who signs

Each signer gets their own private link, in the order you set. Void a document that went out by mistake.

  • Less paper

A smaller pile of paper to store, find and eventually shred, and a smaller footprint for your business.

How NanoNear gets your documents signed

Five steps from the file you already have to a signed copy in your hands.

  1. Upload the document

A PDF, Word, Excel or text file, up to 20 MB. Contracts, NDAs, offer letters, quotes and forms all work.

  2. Place the fields

Drag signature, initials, date, name and other fields onto the page for each person. Fourteen field types in all.

  3. Add the people

Signers, approvers and people who only get a copy, in the order they should act. Add an expiry date if it should not stay open.

  4. Send and track

Each person gets an email when it is their turn. Watch the status change as they view and sign, or decline with a reason.

  5. Keep the signed copy

Download the finished document with its completion certificate and the full audit trail.

Are electronic signatures legally binding?

Common questions

Do the people signing need a NanoNear account?

No. They sign from the link in their email. Only the person sending needs a NanoNear account.

What kinds of documents can we send?

PDF, Word (DOC, DOCX), Excel (XLS, XLSX) and plain text files, up to 20 MB each.

Can several people sign one document?

Yes. Add as many signers, approvers and copy recipients as you need and set the order they act in. Each person is asked only when it is their turn.

What if someone refuses to sign?

A signer can decline and give a reason. You will see that on the document straight away.

What proof do we get?

Every step is logged with its time in an audit trail, and the signed document comes with a completion certificate summarising who signed and when.

How is it priced?

NanoSign has its own plans and is billed on its own. Each document you upload counts once, however many people sign it.
